Leadership

Welcome to Union Presbyterian Seminary—electronically, speaking.  I am delighted that you are visiting our site and I hope you will take some time to explore. There is much happening here at this seminary that has ventured enthusiastically and prayerfully into its third century of theological education. Since moving from Hampden-Sydney college in 1898, we have developed exciting curricula across three different educational platforms. I hope you will have an opportunity at some point to visit both our physical campus locations. Until you do, take a virtual tour of Richmond and Charlotte.

I’d also encourage you to read more about how we do residential theological education at Richmond, theological education on the weekends—Friday nights and Saturdays—at Charlotte, and a hybrid of online and intensive residential study through our Hybrid Program. Having visited the pages about our platforms, take a closer look at the information the different degree programs that we offer through those platforms:  M.Div.; M.A.C.E.; Dual M.Div./M.A.C.E. and Th.M.

If you are interested in applying to Union Presbyterian Seminary, make sure to stop by the admissions site. Learn more about our wonderful faculty and our incredible library. If you are an alum, we have developed a page just for you. Alums and seminary friends, you will certainly be interested in the many program offerings of our Leadership Institute. And if you are interested in giving to support the seminary, well, we certainly have a landing spot for you!

So, visit with us a while. Learn as much as you would like from roaming through our website. And, when you are ready, come visit us in person. If you are not interested in a formal degree program, perhaps you’d be excited to know about the many lectures, workshops, and other activities that happen regularly. I want you to feel invited to any of these events that interest you. We want you to feel like you belong. Because you do! We want you to feel like it is your seminary. Because it is!
